The Centres d'Aide aux
Entreprises (CAE) are not-for-profit
corporations created, following the wishes of the
business sector to promote and develop the region's economy.
They were originally supported by the Government of
Canada.
The mission of the CAE is to participate in economic
development through offering SMEs in the territory, financial aid and
counsel to encourage the creation and maintenance of employment.
Their board of directors is independent and form
of representative business people and professionals of the community serve by
the CAE.
